Graduate Skills and Competencies
Cultivating the Best Competencies
Skills curriculum
All majors offered by the Faculty of Business Administration are structured to include essential skills at more than one level of your study. These skills are Skills for Academic Learning (SAL), Skills for Employability (SE) and Skills for Research (SR).
The skills for academic learning are important in the first year of study.
Employability skills start to be developed at level 3 and may continue at level 4.
Research skills are provided at level 1 and 3 as a preparatory phase for the levels 4 and 5.
Students completing their major successfully shall develop such capacities throughout their time at MU. Despite that all courses contribute to the development of the tripartite skills, some of them are primarily having a focus on one type of skills at the expense of the others.
