Employability in Mass Media and Cultural Industries
Due to the fact that the University's mission is to assist in placing every graduate student in her/his right employment in the industry, our study programs in any of the majors offered are steered towards its realization.
A number of courses at different levels of study during the three years program of study are focused on those soft and specialist skills that create in you the confidence of applying your knowledge in a working environment.
We take the knowledge that you acquire in the Faculty of Mass Communication and Fine Arts seriously in light of its capacity to put you on a better foot in the job market.
We expect students to sustain reciprocity of dedication that optimizes the opportunity of employability.
All members of the Faculty, including those in other Faculties, are working to ensure that students can demonstrate and use key graduate skills acquired and developed through their academic study of their major as well as develop skills appropriate and relevant to their career choice.
It is important that students, in adjacent to their work placement and work activities, participate in all events and seminars that are aimed to examine the demands and changes of the organizations of work across media, cultural and communication sectors.
The Faculty Advisors will seek to establish workable links and networks with creative mass communication firms in Beirut, taking advantage of the concentration of media employment in the capital and the resources available for students to set up steadfast career development.
