Feedback Approaches
The program of study leading to an award of Bachelor of Science in a particular major by the Faculty of Business Administration has a set of learning outcomes.
At the same time, each of the courses has a set of intended learning outcomes (ILOs) that are in line with the major learning outcomes. These ILOs determine the knowledge and skills that students must acquire and demonstrate to pass the course.
You should find the course ILOs in the Course Guide (Syllabus), which also outlines the course objective, topics of study as well as a synopsis of course assessment criteria and methods.
The Course Guide (the Syllabus) has also details about the links between the ILOs and assessment criteria. As well, you should expect to have a table of performance indicators mapping characteristics of each of the criteria against different assessment grades.
The Faculty is committed to providing you with an assessment feedback for the course undertaken. The feedback includes details about how well you have met the assessment criteria based on the course ILOs. This feedback will either be in a feedback sheets or electronic shared review.
Sustainable feedback from teaching staff and other peer students are critical instances of formative feedback that are endorsed extensively by the Faculty in response to its Teaching and Learning Strategy that is student-centric.
