As a part of the course Broadcast Writing delivered by the Instructor Shadi Zaidan, the Faculty of Mass Communication and Fine Arts at Al-Maaref University hosted the actor Hassan Farhat who played the role of “Al-Jalaboot” in the series of Al-Ghalboun (the Victorious).

During the lecture, Mr Farhat talked about his long experience in the world of drama and television. At the end of the session, he allocated a time for students to ask their questions, which focused mainly on the elements that build character’s personality and how to analyse it. Mr Farhat responded to the students’ questions directly in an interactive atmosphere.

In commemoration of the 17th Anniversary of the 'Victory and First Liberation' war, the Sports Club at Al Maaref University organized a football competition with eight universities at Al-A’ahed Sports playground in Beirut.

Under the sponsorship of Youth and Sports Minister, Mr. Mohamad Fneish, Al Maaref University launched five Students Clubs on Tuesday 25^th April 2017.

The launched five Clubs were: Culture and Dialogue (Al Minbar), Sports Club, Reading Club (Noon), Social Services Club (Besmeh), and Female Students Club (Ra’edah).

The event launch of five Students Clubs took place among the presence of large numbers of stakeholders, notable community members, cultural, social and media representatives

In commemoration of birth of Iman Mahdi, the Faculty of Religions and Humanities organized a seminar under the title of “Human Will and Social Change” in the University auditorium on Thursday 11 May 2017. The Director of the Higher Education Institute for Religious Studies at the University of Saint Joseph, Professor Edgar Al Heebi , and the ‘Hawzah’ Lecturer at the University of the International Al Mustapha University , Sheikh Mohamad Zarakit gave a talk about the subject of the seminar that was precluded by an introductory preview given by the Dean of the Faculty of Religions and Humanities at Al Maaref University, Dr. Hadi Fadlullah.

The Scientific and Academic Counselor at Al Maaref University, Dr. Talal Atrissi gave an insightful lecture to students on the emergence of Western human sciences.

Students of the Faculty of Mass Communication and Fine Arts were invited to a session with Human Development Sciences Specialist, Mr. Ali Abbas to discuss the nature of reading.

In collaboration with The Integrated Digital Systems - IDS Company, the Faculty of Business Administration organized a Demo Workshop for students on LIBRA Accounting Software.

The MU Auditorium was full of students who are interested and inspired by the legacy of Imam Hussein (AS).  Several students took the initiative to present their poetry work on this occasion.

A group of students from the Faculty of Mass Communication & Fine Arts visited “Al Nour” Radio Station to learn how to put together and broadcast a Radio Show.
