In the presence of General Director of Higher Education, Professor Ahmad Jammal, Al Maaref University organized a seminar about “Masters Degrees”, in collaboration with Higher Education organization in the Ta’abiyet Tarbawiyat on Tuesday 17/1/2017. The seminar focused on policies of development, criteria of success and future trends in the job market.

The seminar was attended by a large number of academics and specialists from different Lebanese universities. The program pivoted around plans and obstacles of creating new Masters in Lebanon, the importance of studies, formations, future trends of higher education  as well as the realities of Lebanese and international higher education.

The seminar was inaugurated with an opening speech delivered by the President of Al Maaref University, Dr. Ali Alaeddine, and followed up with a word from both the Director of the Ta’abeyat Tarbawiyat, Dr. Abdullah Zeyaour and General Director of Higher Education, Professor Ahmad Jammal.

After a short break, Bassam Makki from the Higher Education Association administered a specialist meeting where Dr. Bassam Badran from the Lebanese University, Dr. Nisreen Ghaddar from the American University, Dr. Pierre Gedeon from Notre Dame University- Louaize and Dr. Hussin Hejase from Al Maaref University gave an academic intervention consecutively. 

The seminar closed with a valuable dialogue, discussions, interventions and recommendations about the “Masters Degrees” development and memorial shield was handed over by Professor Ali Alaeddine to Professor Ahmad Jammal and the rest of the key discussants in the event.
