Role:
Instructors are required to teach Undergraduate (UG) Level Engineering Courses and provide students with real-life application cases to boost their problem-solving, critical thinking, and ethical judgment skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging lectures to undergraduate students according to the faculty’s mission, vision, values and learning strategy.
- Initiate and facilitate extracurricular activities such as field trips, class visitations etc. to enhance students’ experience, engagement and competency and build collaboration networks within the industry and community.
- Communicate with students through e-learning platforms.
- Contribute to the wider students’ experience through personal tutoring, classroom teaching and provide support in and outside the classroom.
- Participate in interactive online teaching assignments once needed and undertake the necessary training offered by the Faculty.
- Participate actively in the Faculty meetings academic and social activities/events.
- Propose and advise final year projects.
Qualifications:
- A PhD Degree or equivalent qualifications/experience within your specialist discipline.
- Established teaching experience record at a higher education Level.
- Active approach to interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary teaching.
- Excellent English communication skills
- Flexibility in undertaking additional duties when required by the faculty.
