Program Committee Representation
Elected academic staff and student representatives are invited to participate in the functions of an important decision-making academic body namely, the Faculty Council. Students elected from all three academic levels (Sophomore, Junior and Senior years) are entitled to participate and observe the Faculty decision-making sessions on matters of their concern. They meet at least once per semester to discuss issues related to program, teaching and learning, resources and student welfare.
The Faculty Council is accounted as one of the primary forums for students to provide their viewpoints on academic issues, to put forward productive suggestions. Minutes are displayed and distributed to students.
Faculty Council minutes represent a critical part of University Governance and quality enhancement process and the annual monitoring and review of the programs.
