In cooperation with the Ghobeiry's Municipality, Al Maaref University organized a workshop on 'Effective Corporate Communication' on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the municipality’s Social Health Center, with the participation of directors and heads of Public Relations and Media Relations Departments from local businesses and companies.
A number of experienced Instructors from the Faculty of Mass Communication and Fine Arts, at Al Maaref University, delivered the five-hour long workshop in the presence of the President of Ghobeiry's Municipality Council, Mr. Maan Al-Khalil.
The aim of the workshop was to introduce the importance of public relations as a set of activities involved in managing and orchestrating good and healthy communication as being the messages issued by a corporation internally and externally to its public.
On the other hand, the workshop touched upon ways to optimize corporate social media presence and get online exposure in the line of depicting positive images publicly. In this vein, there were examples of how the utilization of influencers can help in creating virtually a positive corporate image.
The workshop also dealt with Crisis Communication Management that is designed to protect and defend the corporate image in order to preserve its sound reputation. Participants were given the opportunity to know PR tools and procedures, and they were also trained on how to write a press release and how to apply the relevant techniques.
At the end of the workshop, Certificates of Participation were granted to the participants.
