Gaining a Place in Media Profession
Gaining a Place in Media Profession
Production Skills Acquired with Ethics
Two of the courses at level two of the program study are expected to provide students with pivotal information about the requirements needed for them to start working in either the media or cultural industries. Potential work placements may be in local media or associated professional institutions operating in Lebanon.
Preparing students for employment or further postgraduate training is an important theme throughout the courses.
The faculty staff members have a focus on establishing strong links with media and cultural industries across the Lebanese territories. The faculty as well as the Student Affairs Office can assist students to identify leads for work experience opportunities promoted throughout the year.
Any of the majors offered by the Faculty should prepare students for future employment in the media and cultural industries and therefore enable them to be well equipped to deal with the latest demands of the “information economy”.
Our graduates can pursue careers in television, journalism, film and multimedia, in advertising and public relations as well as pursuing careers in many other associated and adjacent fields including education, business, public services, and arts.
Our study programs enable students to develop the appropriate skills, knowledge, and competencies in communication, analysis, and problem-solving that are highly received by employers across all sectors in society.
Students have a unique opportunity to acquire advanced production skills in any of the majors offered by the faculty of MCFA within an integrative and proactive framework of critical inquiry and academic study.
