Graduate Opportunities
All students are encouraged and supported to work on securing a work placement arrangement with an institution in any business industry. They should have an advice by the Faculty members and Students Affairs Office for potential institutions and organizations that the Faculty and University have already established contacts or agreements with them.
The Faculty of Business Administration is committed to supporting its students to be engaged with the job market in order to be placed in an appropriate employment.
Given the fact that business is an interdisciplinary area of study and practice; graduates from the FBA have either an 1) academic and/or professional routes as well as 2) a direct involvement into one of the careers as an entrepreneur or in a functional unit of particular private or public organization or businesses.
The academic study routes available for a graduate from the FBA are:
- Seeking higher education in Business Administration (MBA) or specialized higher education in a business field (MS). One fact must be clarified here related to the possibility to pursue the doctoral degree in the future. According to the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, there are two situations:2
- Graduating with Master of Business Administration - MBA degree with the option of completing a 3 Credits research project, will lead to a government equivalency of an executive MBA with an observation that the candidate may not continue further towards the doctorate degree.
- Graduating with Master of Science - MS degree with the option of completing a 6 Cr research thesis, will lead to a government equivalency of a research MS with an observation that the candidate may continue further towards the doctorate degree.
The professional certified study route available for a graduate in a specific field from the FBA are:
- In Accounting: Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor, and/or other similar certificates.
- In Finance: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM), Certificate in Risk Management in Services (CRM), Operational Risk Management (ORM) in Financial Institutions, etc…
- In Economics: Certificate in Business Economics (CBE), Certificate in Economic Analysis (CEA), Certificate in Applied Economics (CAE), Certificate in Economic Development, etc…
- In Management: Project Management Professional (PMP), The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP), certificates in different areas: Strategic Management, Consultancy, Leadership, Business Analytics, etc…
- In Information Technology: Information Technology Management (ITM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), certificates in different areas: Forensics, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Governance, etc…
- In Marketing: Professional Certificate in Marketing (CIM), Certificate in Digital Marketing (CDM), certificates in different areas: Logistics, Consumer Behavior, Branding, etc…
Worth to note that an alternative route of career development is available by entering enter domain of a particular job market. The career can be
- in academia: teaching and research: necessitates a doctoral degree plus teaching experience.
- in professional consultancy and training: necessitates at least MBA or MS or Ph.D. degrees or Professional Certificates plus teaching experience.
- in the professional job market: necessitates at least a BS/BA degree as well as (MBA or MS or Ph.D. degrees plus work experience) and Professional Certificates in research and development: necessitates at least MBA or MS or Ph.D. degrees plus experience and working knowledge in specialized statistical software.

The specialist study in each of the majors offered by the Faculty of Business Administration is a differential value in attracting the right talents for different divisions of the business operations. Major related careers are as follows:
